Matt Meblin
Vice President of Business Development
Matt Meblin is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience raising capital and scaling companies. Matt currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Sequoia with a role to align investors in Sequoia's syndicated multifamily real estate deals. Prior to Sequoia, Matt founded and served as CEO of multiple successful startup companies providing technology and services to more than 500 Global 2000 companies. He holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco and serves on the Board of the USF Alumni Association in the North Bay, as well as multiple private companies and nonprofit organizations.
Erik Peterson
Senior Vice President of Acquisitions & Business Development
Erik joins Sequoia with more than 17 years of experience in property acquisitions. Previously, as Director of Acquisitions at Capital Realty Advisors, Erik assisted in Sequoia’s acquisition of $1.8B in assets. Erik will continue to seek long term investments to support the growth of the company’s operations into other Western U.S. markets beyond its current west coast footprint, as well as growth of its specialized third-party property management business.
